Yield: 48 Cookies
|¾ cup||Light brown sugar|
|¼ cup||Dark brown sugar|
|¾ teaspoon||Baking soda|
|6 ounces||Bittersweet chocolate|
Preheat oven to 375F. Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together flour and soda, then stir into the butter mixture. Chop chocolate into pieces, then stir in.
It is traditional at this point to sample the batter before proceeding (cartoon of individual tipping contents of bowl into mouth). Drop the remaining batter from a teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake the cookie about 10 min (cartoon of lone cookie on cookie sheet going into oven).
