Yeast biscuits #1

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Sifted flour
3 tablespoons Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
1 pack Yeast
1½ cup Warm water
3 tablespoons Melted shortening

Dissolve yeast in warm water; mix with dry ingredients. Add shortening and mix. Roll out ¼ inch thick; cut; dip in melted butter. Let rise for 1½ hours and bake at 400 about 15 minutes.
