Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Bacon |
| 2 | mediums | Onions; diced |
| 3 | pounds | Ground beef |
| 3 | cans | (no. 2-1/2) tomatoes |
| 4 | cans | (no. 2) pinto beans |
| 1 | can | Tomato sauce |
| Salt; pepper, tabasco sauce and chili powder to taste | ||
Directions
Dice bacon and fry until brown. Remove bacon; add onions to bacon fat and stir until wilted. Remove onions. Saut meat in bacon fat until it loses its pink color. Then put all ingredients together; season to taste. Add other ingredients; simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Serve in bowls. Yields 20 servings and freezes well.
