Measure | Ingredient |

1 pounds | Bacon |
2 mediums | Onions; diced |
3 pounds | Ground beef |
3 cans | (no. 2-1/2) tomatoes |
4 cans | (no. 2) pinto beans |
1 can | Tomato sauce |
\N \N | Salt; pepper, tabasco sauce and chili powder to taste |
Dice bacon and fry until brown. Remove bacon; add onions to bacon fat and stir until wilted. Remove onions. Saut meat in bacon fat until it loses its pink color. Then put all ingredients together; season to taste. Add other ingredients; simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Serve in bowls. Yields 20 servings and freezes well.
