1 teaspoon Olive oil
1 medium Onion; chopped
1 Cl Garlic; chopped
1 cup Bell peppers; chopped
1 pounds Turkey; ground
1 cup Celery; chopped
2 cups Zucchini; grated
1 cup Carrot; grated
2 cans Tomato sauce; (8 oz)
1 can Tomato paste; (6 oz)
2 cups Water
1 teaspoon Basil
1 teaspoon Oregano

Recipe by: Quick & Easy Diabetic Menus Preparation Time: 0:40 In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and peppers until tender. Add meat until no pink remains. Then add celery, zucchini, carrot, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, basil and oregano. Simmer over medium heat for at least 1 hour to cook vegetables. Serve over cooked pasta.
