Turkey-in-the-round sandwiches

Ingredients

| 2 | smalls | Italian bread shells; such as boboli | 
| 2 | tablespoons | Reduced-fat mayonnaise; | 
| 2 | tablespoons | Jalapepo cheese dip; | 
| 4 | slices | (thick) turkey breast; 6-oz total | 
| 8 | slices | (thin) onion; (red or white) | 
| 1 | Roasted red bell pepper; cut into 4 pieces | |
| ¼ | cup | Cilantro leaves; | 
Directions
Briefly hold the bread rounds over an open gas flame, turning once, until they are lightly toasted on both sides, 30 - 40 seconds total. 
Use a long, serrated knife to carefully slice each round in half crosswise. Spread 4 slices with a portion of the mayonnaise and cheese dip. Layer with meat, vegetables and cilantro.  Close the sandwiches and cilantro. Close the sandwiches and serve.  Yield 4 servings.
