Tootie's zucchini casserole

Ingredients

1Onion, chopped
1cupRice, cooked
1teaspoonOregano
1teaspoonGarlic salt
1cupCottage cheese
1can(10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1cupCheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

Cut zucchini in ½ inch pieces and cook until barely tender, drain/ Place ½ of zucchini in bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. (I spray dish with pam) In skillet, combine ground beef, onion, rice and seasonings. Pour meat mixture over zucchini, spoon cottage cheese on top, add remaining zucchini.

Spread soup over all and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° uncovered until bubbly.
