Tomato soup <dairy>

Ingredients

3cupsCanned tomatoes
1cupWater
4tablespoonsGrated onion
teaspoonSalt
2teaspoonsSugar
1cupScalded milk
cupCooked rice

Directions

Over low heat, cook tomatoes, water, onion, salt and sugar for 30 minutes.

Force through a food mill. Stir in the milk and rice. Serve hot.
