½cupWhipped Cream Or Sour Cream
2tablespoonsChives -- minced

Directions

Place all the ingredients except cream and chives in a saucepan.

Simmer uncovered for 40 mins, stirring occasionally. Strain through a fine sieve. Adjust seasoning. Reheat soup and serve topped with a spoonful of cream and minced chives.
