|4 cups||Crushed and peeled tomatoes|
|1 \N||Bottle fruit pectin|
|¼ cup||Lemon juice|
|\N \N||Grated rind 1 lemon|
Boil tomatoes 10 minutes in an uncovered kettle. Stir occasionally.
Add lemon juice and grated lemon rind. Heat rapidly to full rolling boil. Stir constantly before and while boiling. Boil hard 2 minutes.
Remove from fire. Stir in fruit pectin. Skim. This recipe requires about 2½ pounds tomatoes. The Household Searchlight
