Measure | Ingredient |

3 quarts | Green Tomatoes (about 14 large) |
1 quart | Cooking Onions (about 5 or 6) |
3 \N | Sweet Red peppers |
\N \N | Boiling Water |
1 quart | Vinegar |
3 pounds | Sugar (about 6 3/4 cups, a little less is better) |
¼ cup | Salt |
3 tablespoons | Mustard Seed |
3 tablespoons | Celery Seed |
2 teaspoons | Tumeric |
Grind and measure tomatoes, onions, and peppers (removing seeds). Pour boiling water over the mixture and let stand 5 minutes. Drain well and add vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seed, celery seed, and tumeric.
Cook 30 minutes or until thickened, let simmer (might take more than 30 minutes to thicken). While hot, pour into sterilized jars and process.
