Thousand island pickles

Measure Ingredient
9 cups Cucumbers -- thickly sliced
1⅓ cup Onions -- diced
3 \N Green peppers -- diced
⅓ \N Box mustard seed
1⅔ cup Sugar
½ teaspoon Turmeric
⅔ teaspoon Salt
2 cups Vinegar
⅔ cup Water
⅓ teaspoon Celery seed

Place in large pot and cook until cucumbers are tender. Bottle in hot sterilized jars. Seal at once.
