Thousand island dressing

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Hard-cooked egg; chopped
½ cup Catsup
½ cup Tomato puree
2 cups Mayonnaise
¼ cup Dill pickle relish
1 tablespoon Chopped green olives
2 teaspoons Minced chives
2 tablespoons Minced pimiento
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Black pepper
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
½ teaspoon MSG (optional)
¾ cup Buttermilk (or more)

Combine egg, catsup, tomato puree, mayonnaise, relish, olives, chives, pimiento, salt, pepper, mustard and MSG and beat. Gradually beat in buttermilk until desired consistency is reached.

Makes about 4½ cups
