Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Smoked beef sausage OR- turkey sausage
3 cups Cooked rice
16 ounces Red beans or pinto beans rinsed and drained
½ cup Hickory-smoked BBQ sauce

Brown sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat; drain and return sausage to skillet. Stir in rice, beans, and sauce. Cook until thoroughly heated, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Microwave Oven Instructions: Place sausage in microproof baking dish.

Cover with waxed paper; cook on HIGH 3 minutes. Add rice, beans and sauce. Cook on HIGH 4 to 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring after 2 minutes.
