Teriyaki beef/chicken
4 Servings
Ingredients
| Quantity | Ingredient | |
|---|---|---|
| ½ | cup | Soy sauce |
| ½ | cup | Sugar |
| 1½ | tablespoon | Red wine vinegar |
| 2 | teaspoons | Vegetable oil or sesame oil |
| 1 | Clove garlic; minced | |
| ¾ | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
| 1 | pounds | Chicken breast or beef |
| 1 | cup | Regular uncooked rice |
Directions
Mix soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, oil, garlic and ginger to make marinade.
Freeze meat in marinade in 1 gallon freezer bag. When preparing to serve, thaw meat. Pour chicken or beef and marinade into a baking dish. Bake in preheated oven 350, for 35 minutes. Prepare rice. Serve over rice.
NOTE: Same as above. Origianlly a once a month cooking recipe. To prepare same day, just marinate in fridge for several hours. We prefer the beef, but both are very good.
