Sweet and sour cherry sauce

Ingredients

1cupSour Cherries; pitted and pureed
1tablespoonSugar; or honey, to taste
1tablespoonVinegar
½teaspoonCinnamon
½teaspoonCloves, Ground
1teaspoonLemon Rind, grated

Directions

Combine cherries, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon and lemon rind and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook 5 mins. Add a little water to thin, if desired.
