Sugarless date cookies

Yield: 28 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Raisins
½ cup Chopped dates
1 cup Water
2 \N Eggs
¼ cup Margarine
1 tablespoon Liquid sugar substitute
1 teaspoon Vanilla
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder

Combine in saucepan raisins, dates, and water. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool Cream together eggs, margarine, liquid sugar substitute, and vanilla. Sift together cinnamon, flour, and soda. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with date mixture. Beat well. Chill several hours. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking pan. Bake at 350 F. for 10 to 12 minutes.
