| Measure | Ingredient |

| 1½ cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Butter or margarine |
| 1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 4 \N | Eggs |
| 3 cups | Flour |
| 1 teaspoon | Soda |
| ½ teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ pint | Sour cream |
| 1 cup | Strawberry jam |
| ½ cup | Nuts (optional) |
Mix sugar, vanilla, butter & eggs, one at a time. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
