| 1 | pint | Strawberries; washed & sliced |
| ¼ | cup | Milk |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 2 | cups | Flour |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | cup | Chopped walnuts |

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt margarine in microwave and set aside.
In mixing bowl, add eggs to the sugar and mix. Pour in melted margarine, milk and vanilla. Add strawberries. Add flour, baking soda and nuts and blend with a spoon.
Pour into greased loaf pan, sprinkle with sugar and bake for 1 hour.
