Spinach-burger special

1cupBeef Flavored T V P, Or
2Wilson's Meat Bars -- left
Wrapped
3teaspoonsInstant Minced Onions
1teaspoonBasil
¼teaspoonGarlic Powder -- to taste
4Beef Bouillon Cubes
2cupsBrown Rice, Quick
** Package Separately **
½cupTomato Crystals
ounceSpinach Flakes
2ouncesParmesan Cheese
6cupsWater
Salt -- to taste

Directions

1. Crumble meat bar, if used, into pot and brown slightly over medium heat.

2. Add 6 c cold water and remaining ingredients, except spinach and cheese.

If using beef TVP add now also. 3. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20-10 minutes, or until rice and TVP are tender. 4. Add spinach flakes about 10 minutes before done. Mix in cheese just before serving.

Makes 6-7 cups.
