Spinach sandwiches

Ingredients

1 | pack | (10-oz) frozen chopped spinach |
½ | can | (8-oz) water chestnuts; chopped and drained |
2 | tablespoons | Mayonnaise |
2 | tablespoons | Sour cream |
3 | Scallions or green onions and tops; chopped | |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
Pepper to taste | ||
Garlic powder to taste | ||
Worcestershire sauce to taste | ||
Mayonnaise | ||
20 | slices | Bread |
Directions
Thaw frozen spinach and squeeze all liquid out. Mix all other ingredients with spinach. Remove crust from bread. Spread 1 slice of bread with mayonnaise, then spread with spinach mixture. Cut in fourths, diagonally, to make tea sandwiches. Yield: 10 large or 20 tea sandwiches.
