Spicy cabbage soup

48ouncesSpicy tomato-based juice; (e.g., bloody mary mix, V-8, etc.)
2cupsWater; up to 3
3Low-sodium FF vegetable broth packets
1Big pinch dried parsley
3Sprigs thyme
1Bay leaf
2Sprinkles garlic powder
2Turns of pepper mill

Directions

Chop vegetables. Combine all ingredients in large pot, cover and simmer at least 1 hour. Remove bay leaf. Makes about 3 quarts.
