Slow cooker pinto beans

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Dried pinto beans | 
| 5 | cups | Water | 
| 1 | pounds | Salt pork; rinsed well | 
| 1 | medium | Onion; chopped | 
| 1 | Bottle (12-oz) Cola beverage | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Crushed hot red pepper | 
| ¼ | teaspoon | Thyme | 
| ¼ | teaspoon | Oregano | 
Directions
Cook beans overnight in slow cooker on low setting with water, salt pork & onion. Add remaining ingredients & cook on low setting for 10 hours or on high setting for 8 hours (or until very tender).
