Slow cooked chili

Yield: 10 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Ground beef; extra lean
2 cans Kidney beans
2 cans Tomato sauce
2 mediums Onions; chopped
1 \N Green pepper; chopped
2 \N Garlic clove; minced
2 teaspoons Salt; optional
1 teaspoon Pepper
\N \N Cheddar cheese; lowfat, grated

In a skillet, brown beef, drain. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add the next 9 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high 4-4½ hours.

Garnish individual servings with cheese if desired.

1 serving = 1 cup Prepared with extra lean meat and without cheese.
