Seven-up salad

Ingredients

1pack(3-oz) lemon or lime gelatin
1cupHot water
1cup7-up
2Bananas; mashed
2cupsMiniature marshmallows
1can(15.5-oz) crushed pineapple; drained; reserve juice
1tablespoonFlour
½cupSugar
Pineapple juice
1Egg
½pintCream; whipped
¼cupChopped nuts

Directions

Dissolve gelatin in water. Add 7-up, banana, marshmallows and pineapple.

Pour into 1-½ quart mold. Chill until firm. Combine flour, sugar and juice. Beat in egg. Cook in double boiler until thick. Cool. Add cream.

Spread over gelatin. Sprinkle with nuts. Chill MRS JOHN WHITE (NANCY)
