Red onion jam

Ingredients

3cupsPeeled, thinly sliced red
Onions
cupApple juice
¾cupRed wine vinegar
1teaspoonDried sage
½teaspoonPeper
5cupsSugar
½cupPacked light brown sugar
½teaspoonMargarine
1Pouch liquid pectin

Directions

Mix all ingredients except pectin. Place over high heat; bring to a full rolling boil and stir constantly. Skim off foam with metal sppoon, remove from heat. Ladle into sterilized jars, then water bath process for 5 min.
