|1 can||(1 Lb) Beans In Barbecue|
|1 can||(1 Lb) Tomatoes|
|1 pounds||Lean Ground Beef|
|½ cup||Pillsbury Hungry Jack Mashed|
|1 cup||Pillsbury's Best All-Purpose|
|1½ teaspoon||Baking Powder|
|Potato Flakes -- *|
|1 pack||Onion Soup Mix|
|3 tablespoons||Cooking Oil|
* May substitute soda cracker crumbs Combine beans and tomatoes in 9-inch square baking dish; spread evenly. Combine ground beef, potato flakes, ¼ cup onion soup mix, egg, catsup and pepper in mixing bowl. Shape into twenty-one 1½-in meatballs. Arrange in three rows lengthwise on top of beans. Bake uncovered at 400 F for 20 mins. Remove from oven. Drop biscuits by tablespoonfuls into 2 rows between meatballs. Bake at 400 F for 20 to 25 mins longer.
Drop Biscuits: Combine dry ingredients with remainder of onion soup mix in mixing bowl. Combine milk and oil; add all at once stirring only until moistened.
Note: For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit baking powder and salt.
Makes 6 servings.
