Quick cranberry bread

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Flour
4 teaspoons Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Sugar
1 \N Orange rind; grated
1 \N Egg; beaten
1 cup Milk
2 tablespoons Melted butter
1½ cup Sliced cranberries
1 cup Chopped nuts

Sift dry ingredients; add rind. Combine egg, milk and butter. Gradually add flour mixture. Add cranberries and nuts. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Cool. Wrap in foil and chill before slicing.

Makes delicious sandwiches with butter or cream cheese. Delicious buttered and toasted.
