Pudding pecan pie

| 3¾ | ounce | Pudding mix, vanilla instant |
| ¾ | cup | Milk, evaporated |
| 1 | Egg; slightly beaten | |
| 1 | cup | Pecans; chopped |
| 1 | Pastry shell (8\"); unbaked | |
| Whipped topping | ||
| Pecan halves | ||
Directions
Combine syrup and pudding mix in a bowl. Gradually add evaporated milk and egg; stir to blend. Add pecans and pour into the unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees until pie is set, about 55 minutes.
Garnish with whipped topping and pecan halves.
