Yield: 1 Servings
|3||Fresh plums; pitted and chopped|
|2 cups||Apple juice|
|1 cup||(heaping) slow cooking oatmeal|
|1 teaspoon||Dehydrated lemon peel|
Combine apple juice, plums, raisins, and cinnamon in a small pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in oatmeal and simmer until the juice is absorbed. cover and let rest for 1 minute. Serves 2-4.
This is not real sweet so some of you may prefer to add some sugar or honey.
