Yield: 20 Servings
|100 ounces||Angela Mia crushed tomatoes; (Hunts)|
|3 tablespoons||Olive oil|
|1 cup||Good Red Wine|
|2½ teaspoon||Fresh ground black pepper|
|2½ teaspoon||Garlic powder|
|\N \N||Salt to taste|
|6 pints||Makes this many pints OR enough for|
1. Combine all ingredients and slowly add to sauce while whisking.
2. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer over low heat for 1 to 3 hours, or until you like the taste.
3. Makes about 6 pints or enough for roughly 20 servings. Freezes well. The only way to buy Angela Mia tomatoes is Sam's or a warehouse outlet and it comes in 100 ounce cans.
