Pecan delight pie

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
4 \N Egg whites
1 cup Sugar
1¾ teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 cups Soda crackers; coarsely broken
1 cup Chopped pecans
2 cups Whipped topping or whipped cream

Beat egg whites until they form peaks. Continue to beat as you add sugar & baking powder. Continue to whip until stiff & all sugar is dissolved. Add vanilla. Add soda crackers & pecans, gently folding in by hand. Pour into greased 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Remove from oven & cool upside down. When thoroughly cooled, top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with pecans.
