¾ teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
¼ teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
6 cups | Peeled and thinly sliced apples |
1 \N | Deep-dish pie crust; frozen |
½ cup | Brown sugar |
½ cup | Flour |
⅓ cup | Butter |
⅓ cup | Pecans |
CRUMB TOPPING
1. In large bowl, toss together sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and apples.
Spoon into frozen crust.
2. For crumb topping, combine brown sugar and flour; cut in butter. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle over apples.
3. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven on preheated baking sheet for 40-50 minutes.
