¾ | cup | Granulated sugar |
1 | each | Envelope (1 tsp.) unflavored gelatin |
2 | cups | Sliced fresh peaches |
½ | cup | Orange juice |
2 | tablespoons | Lemon juice |
dash | Salt | |

Directions
In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and gelatin. Stir over low heat until sugar and gelatin are dissolved. Whirl milk mixture with all the remaining ingredients in an electric blender until pureed. Turn into metal ice cube tray or a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Freeze until the outer edge of mixture is solid but center is still mushy. Turn sherbet in- to a cool mixing bowl and beat until smooth and fluffy; return to freezer and freeze until firm. Makes about 1 quart.
