Oklahoma pecan pie

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
3 Eggs -- lightly beaten
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Light Corn Syrup
1 tablespoon Butter -- melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Pecan Halves Or Pieces
1 9 Inch Pie Shell -- unbaked

Beat eggs, add sugar, corn syrup, and butter and mix together until well blended. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell and bake in a preheated 350 F oven for 45 to 55 mins or until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool well on wire rack. Serve plain or with whipped cream. Makes 6 to 8 slices.
