Oat and cranberry muffins

Ingredients

| ¾ | cup | Unsifted all purpose flour |
| ¾ | cup | Unsifted all purpose flour |
| 1 | cup | Oatmeal (do not use quick or instant oatmeal) |
| ½ | cup | Light brown sugar |
| 1 | tablespoon | Baking powder |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
| 1 | cup | Fresh or frozen cranberries |
| ¼ | cup | (1/2 stick) butter |
| 1 | cup | Milk |
| 1 | large | Egg |
| Heat oven to 425. Grease 12 muffin cups. | ||
Directions
In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and blend well. Toss the cranberries with 1 tbsp. of dry ingredients and set aside. Melt abutter. Remove from Heat: Stir in milk and egg Stir butter mixture into dry ingredients and, when well mixed, stir in cranberries. Spoon into muffin cups and bake until lightly browned++ 15 to 20 minutes.
