No salt spaghetti sauce

2Med Onions, chopped
1teaspoon(or less) olive oil or PAM
2Cloves minced garlic
48 oz cans no-salt tomatoes
26 oz cans no-salt tom paste
1cupRed wine
1cupWater
2teaspoonsDried oregano leaves
1teaspoonPepper
1teaspoonSugar

Directions

In a deep saucepan, cook onion in oil or PAM until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Taste after 1½ hours and adjust seasoning. Sauteed mushrooms are a great addition.
