Spaghetti meat sauce

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 large Onion, chopped
1 \N Garlic clove, minced
¼ cup Salad oil
1 pounds Ground beef
2½ cup Tomatoes, canned
6 ounces Tomato paste
1 cup Water
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
1 \N Bay leaf

Saute onion and garlic in hot oil. Add meat and cook until browned.

Add remaining ingredients; Simmer slowly for 1 hour.

Cool quickly; freeze in refrigerator trays ( with dividers). Transfer cubes to freezer container.

To serve, heat as many cubes as needed over low heat. Spoon sauce over fresh cooked spaghetti, sprinkle with grated cheese **JJ** 102295.1221
