Mom's fluffy frosting

Measure Ingredient

¼ cup Flour
¾ cup Water -- cold
\N \N _____Main Base______________
\N \N ________
¼ pounds Butter -- softened, but
\N \N Cold
¾ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla

1. Make cold paste: blend flour and water in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly until clear. Cool completely.

2. Beat butter and sugar until VERY fluffy. Add vanilla, continue beating. Add cold paste, one teaspoon at a time, and beat until it looks like whipped cream.
