Yield: 16 Servings
|1½ cup||Plain flour|
|1 teaspoon||Baking powder|
|1 cup||Brown sugar|
|1 cup||Nuts; pecans or walnuts, chopped|
Mix margarine, sugar, 1 egg, flour and baking powder. Spread in a 9x13 pan.
Sprinkle 1 c. nuts over batter. Beat egg white from remaining egg till stiff. Add 1 cup brown sugar. Spread over batter and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 min. Cut into squares while hot.
