2 cups | Heavy or whipping cream |
1 cup | Milk |
4 teaspoons | Unsweetened cocoa powder |
2 tablespoons | Good quality freeze dried coffee |
2 larges | Eggs |
1 cup | Coarsely chopped walnuts |
1. Mix cream, milk, sugar, cocoa, and coffee in a mixing bowl until blended. Whisks eggs in another bowl until light yellow. Pour the eggs into cream mixture and stir until blended.
2. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following manufacturer's instructions.
3. Add 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts after ice cream astiffens. (about 2 minutes before it is done), then continue freezing until your ice cream is ready. Makes 1 quart.
