Mediterranean halibut

Ingredients

¼cupItalian salad dressing
2eachesCloves garlic; finely minced
1teaspoonMinced fresh OR
¼teaspoonDried thyme
½cupLemon juice
½cupWater
4eachesHalibut steaks, about 1/2 inch thick
4eachesSlices tomato
½cupCrumbled feta cheese

Directions

In a 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish, combine olive oil, salad dressing, garlic, thyme, lemon juice and water. Add halibut. Turn once. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight, turning at least once. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour off marinade; reserve. Place tomato slices on halibut and dribble ½ cup marinade over top. Bake uncovered, for 20 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Baste once with extra marinade.

To serve, sprinkle feta cheesse over top.
