Marinated three bean salad

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 can Wax beans
1 can Cut green beans
½ \N Bell pepper; thinly sliced
½ \N Onion; thinly sliced
1 cup Button mushrooms
⅔ cup Sugar
¾ cup Salad oil
⅓ cup Vinegar
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
1 dash Garlic powder

Drain beans & put into a 9x13-inch dish. Add green pepper, onions & mushrooms. Heat remaining ingredients to a boil; pour over vegetables & let marinate for 6 hours. (NOTE: This is a 'three bean' salad, but there were only two types of beans listed in the recipe! This probably also should call for 1 can of Kidney beans as well!?!?!?!?).
