Latin-style spice rub

¼cupChili powder
2tablespoonsCoriander seeds, crushed
1tablespoonCinnamon
1tablespoonBrown sugar, packed
2tablespoonsSalt
1tablespoonRed pepper flakes
2tablespoonsBlack pepper, fresh ground

Directions

Combine all the ingredients and grind to a powder in a spice mill, coffee grinder, or with a mortar and pestle. Cover in a cool, dark place, it will keep for about 6 weeks.
