</x-rich><x-rich>For a long time, I couldn't find kosher marshmallows, except at Pesach. A friend introduced me to this recipe. While they're not EXACTLY like Rice Crispie Squares, they are a pretty good alternate! Mix together first three ingredients in a pot, over low to medium heat, until syrupy -- stirring frequently. Then, pour into cereal. Mix well. Pour into greased 9" pan. Pat down with damp hands, to spread evenly. When cool, cut into squares.
