Yield: 24 servings
|¼ cup||Butter or margarine|
|4 cups||Miniature (or 40 regular) marshmallows|
|5 cups||Rice Krispies|
Melt butter in saucepan. Add marshmallow and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Add rice krispies and stir until well coated. Press into a well buttered 13x9 pan.
When cool, cut into squares. Makes 24 2 inch squares. Microwave method: Melt butter, marshmallows and vanilla until melted. Add rice krispies. Stir to coat, and then pat into same casserole dish you melted the margarine and marshmallows in. Origin: My recipe file Shared by: Sharon Stevens, Jan/95.
