Kidney bean hamburger

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Round, or flank, ground
1 \N Onion, chopped
2 cups Canned kidney beans
2 tablespoons Catsup
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
⅓ cup Cooking fat
\N \N Salt and pepper

Prize winning recipe Brown meat in cooking fat. Stir to prevent sticking. Add onion, catsup, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover with hot water. Simmer 20 minutes. Add beans. Season to taste. Simmer 20 minutes. Serve hot. If desired, chili powder may be added. 8 servings.
