Hot water corn bread

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Cornmeal
1 teaspoon Salt
1½ cup Boiling water
1 \N Egg beaten
4 tablespoons Margarine melted
\N \N Fat for frying

pour boiling water over cornmeal and salt. stir to thick mush. cool and then add egg and margarine. Drop by spoonfuls into little hot fat and brown on both sides.
