Hot fudge pudding cake

Ingredients

cup Gran. Sugar (divided)
1 cup All purpose flour
7 tablespoons Cocoa (divided)
2 teaspoons Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Milk
cup Butter or marg, melted
teaspoon Vanilla extract
½ cup Lt.brown sugar, packed
cup Hot water

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 350. In med bowl combine ¾ C sugar, flour, 3T cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Blend in milk, butter, and vanilla; beat until smooth. Pour batter into 8 or 9" sq. baking pan. In small bowl combine remaining ½ C sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa; sprinkle mixture evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top, DO NOT STIR. Bake 35 to 40 min, or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 min. Spoon into desert dishes, spooning ssauce from bottom of pan over top. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping if desired.
