Herb tomato sauce

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
14½ ounce can tomatoes, drained
⅓ cup Minced fresh basil
⅓ cup Chopped onion
½ cup Dry red wine (optional)

Procedure: Place all ingredients in blender or food processor fitted with the metal blade; process until smooth. Simmer sauce in pan for 10 to 12 minutes. Serve with pasta. Yield: Makes 6 servings.
