|14½ ounce||can tomatoes, drained|
|⅓ cup||Minced fresh basil|
|⅓ cup||Chopped onion|
|½ cup||Dry red wine (optional)|
Procedure: Place all ingredients in blender or food processor fitted with the metal blade; process until smooth. Simmer sauce in pan for 10 to 12 minutes. Serve with pasta. Yield: Makes 6 servings.
