| 1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| Vegetable oil (for frying) | ||

Directions
TO MAKE THE HOTS: To the container of a blender, add the eggs, salt, baking soda, cake flour, sugar, and sour cream. Process until smooth and set aside. Heat a gridle over medium-high heat, then add enough vegetable oil to lightly coat it (2 to 3 tablespoons). Ladle enough of the batter onto the griddle to make 2-½ inch rounds (about ¾ tablespoon). Cook until a few bubbles appear on the top; turn and cook on the other side until golden brown. Makes about 50 hots (2-½" round) Recipe By :
